Computing Infrastructure Coordinator
Location : Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Salary Range : Up to ~$60,000 MXN gross per month + statutory and additional benefits
We are looking for a Computing Infrastructure Coordinator to lead and coordinate mission-critical hardware and software platforms in a high-availability environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the operation, maintenance, and evolution of server, storage, virtualization, and data network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on banking or payment processing environments.

Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate team activities (5-6 people under supervision) in infrastructure operations, maintenance, and support.
Administer and support virtualization platforms (VMware) and operating systems, including Solaris (mandatory, minimum 3 years of experience), Linux, and Windows.
Manage enterprise storage solutions, including Hitachi and Dell, as well as corporate backup systems (e.g., Veritas InfoScale).
Oversee data center infrastructure and structured cabling (fiber/UTP networks, racks, power distribution, HVAC).
Ensure availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery (DR) for critical environments, ideally in the financial sector.
Collaborate with payment processing areas, clearinghouses, or banks to ensure infrastructure supports high-volume transactions, financial processing, and regulatory compliance.
Perform capacity analysis, proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement proposals.
Travel as required for site supervision, audits, or deployments.
Report operational metrics, availability, incidents, and SLA compliance.
Minimum Requirements :
Technical degree with certification (or equivalent)
Mandatory minimum of 3 years of experience in Solaris + Linux + VMware ( profiles without Solaris experience will not be considered )
Additional experience in Windows Server and heterogeneous environments
Experience in enterprise storage with Hitachi and Dell, and in backup/high-availability solutions (Veritas InfoScale or similar)
Proven experience in data center infrastructure and structured cabling
Experience leading teams of 5-6 people for at least 2 years
Intermediate to advanced conversational English
Willingness to travel
Mandatory experience in payment processing, clearinghouses, or banks (transaction processing, clearing, financial infrastructure)
Preferred (not mandatory) :
VMware, Linux, or storage administration certifications
Knowledge of security standards in financial environments (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001)
Experience with automation (scripts, Ansible, etc.)
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) or hyperconverged infrastructure
