Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced expert in Construction Management to lead the construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure successful project execution
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing construction management team. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets. Analyze financial reports and make recommendations for cost control and optimization
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status, milestones, and challenges to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Building disciplines
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role
- HKIE, RICS, HKIS, HKICM, CIOB, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Proven experience in construction or project management on residential projects is a must
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Capable of making data-driven decisions
