Sr. Consultant, Back End Developer - Java/Golang Responsibilities
Build, implement, and maintain flexible and modular solutions that enhance the client experience across business lines in Java and GoLang. Assist with planning and strategy for the technical design, development, and integration of these applications. Prepare detailed design specifications, gather requirements from end users, business analysts, and technical resources. Develop code and test computer programs for straightforward assignments. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging. Participate in the technical design, development, and integration of cross‑functional, multi‑platform application systems. Effectively interact with team members, end users, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements and prepare design specifications as instructed by senior team members. Qualifications
At least 10 years of professional experience. Strong Java (Java EE/Java SE) development skills. Good knowledge of GoLang (asset). Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Azure Cloud Services (Azure SQL, Databricks, ADLS, Event Hub, ADF), PostgreSQL, Kubernetes (or RedHat OpenShift), Web Services/API, web security, networking, and Unix. Experience acting as a subject‑matter expert to other developers while performing hands‑on coding. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study (or equivalent professional certification). Benefits
