Hotel/Resort Controller
We are seeking an experienced Hotel/Resort Controller to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and development of the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Experience with hotel, golf, spa and membership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and labor management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Serve as the accounting leader in the absence of the Director of Finance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera, POS, and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
