Key Responsibilities
- Manage billing operations and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and analyze monthly and yearly financial reports
- Develop financial forecasts and assist with pricing strategies
- Lead system upgrades and process improvements for our Deltek platform
- Create and implement new financial processes and controls
- Evaluate and recommend financial technology solutions to replace manual systems
- Supervise finance staff (initially one temporary employee)
- Build out the finance team as the company grows
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Controller or similar financial management role
- Deltek software experience, including knowledge of system upgrades
- Background in architecture, engineering, or related industry
- Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and controls
- Experience transitioning manual/paper-based systems to digital solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership capabilities with team management experience
- Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting
