Day to day supervision of the accounting & purchasing departmentBanking transactions: wires/transfers, debit/credit cardsMonthly interim financialsAnnual reporting to government agenciesAssist in annual budget preparationOversight and participation in the year end auditGrant reporting on a quarterly basisResponsible for annual CFR reportingComputing Educational spend downsCheck approvalsRevenue cycle management: reviewing rates, recoveries, write-off’sSedcar billingReview journal entriesReview monthly aging reports Oversee 1099’sParticipate in assigned agency committeesSpecial Projects and AD Hoc reportingQualifications We requireBachelor’s Degree in AccountingMinimum 4 years related experience in a mid to large size organization Knowledge of (GAAP) general accounting principles and practices.Strong Computer literacy with intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Internet search ability. Must have knowledge and experience with V-lookups and pivot tables. Excellent organizational/communication skills are essential.
