STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Core Java Developer on behalf of our client in New York City, NY. We are looking for a highly experienced Java professional with a strong background in developing real-time, low-latency, and multi-threaded server-side applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Core Java, concurrency frameworks, enterprise technologies, and relational databases, with a proven ability to build scalable and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency server-side applications using Core Java.
- Build scalable, multi-threaded solutions following industry best practices and design principles.
- Develop and optimize applications utilizing Java concurrency frameworks and collections.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex systems.
- Design, write, and optimize SQL queries and database interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to application architecture and design discussions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on application performance and stability.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 18 or higher).
- Extensive experience with:
- Multithreading and concurrency programming
- Executor Framework
- Generics
- Java Collections Framework (HashMap, ArrayList, etc.)
- Concurrency utilities and performance optimization
- Data structures and sorting algorithms
- Proven experience developing real-time, low-latency, high-throughput applications.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.
- Experience with relational databases, including:
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- Sybase
- Strong SQL development, query optimization, and database design skills.
- Working knowledge of J2EE technologies, Spring Framework, and web services.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and performance-critical applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
