My client are seeking an experienced CRM Developer with strong Braze expertise to support clients in migrating their existing CRM platforms to Braze. This role is highly technical and client-facing, requiring a blend of development skills, CRM strategy knowledge, and stakeholder management. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, data-driven customer engagement solutions while ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities of the CRM Developer
- Lead and support end-to-end CRM migrations to Braze from platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Iterable, or similar
- Analyse clients’ existing CRM setups, data structures, and campaign logic to design optimal migration strategies
- Implement and configure Braze, including data ingestion, event tracking, and user attribute mapping
- Build and optimise multi-channel campaigns (email, push, in-app, SMS) within Braze
- Develop dynamic messaging using Liquid templating and personalised content logic
- Integrate Braze with client systems via APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and data pipelines
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and compliance (including GDPR and data privacy regulations)
- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, data, engineering) and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct testing, QA, and performance optimisation of campaigns and integrations
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to clients post-migration
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience working with Braze, including platform implementation and campaign execution
- Demonstrated experience migrating CRM platforms or marketing automation systems
- Strong understanding of CRM strategy, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey orchestration
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Liquid templating
- Experience working with APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques
- Solid understanding of customer data structures, event tracking, and segmentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in client-facing roles
