CRTEC Program Coordinator
This position will be a member of the Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) team within the Cancer Center Administration Office. The CRTEC program coordinator will be responsible for providing program coordination to the Cancer Center CRTEC team. Responsibilities include coordinating CRTEC education programs, assisting in the logistics and planning of CRTEC events, and coordinating with faculty, students, staff and members of other Cancer Center teams on collaborative initiatives including the following teams: Operations, Communications, Research, Faculty and Staff Resources (FaSR), Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) and Finance teams. Key Responsibilities:
Additional Duties Intermediate Independently manage the logistics, planning and coordination of cancer research education programs and events, including internal programs and events, conferences, meetings, and various education outreach activities. Independently develop creative materials such as PowerPoint presentations, webpages, and other forms of communication materials for the CRTEC office and specific education programs.
Additional Duties Senior Provide consistent and efficient direct operational support to the CRTEC office leadership including the Associate Director and the Assistant Director and other education programs directors. Independently perform fiscal responsibilities related to the programs or projects being coordinated. Participate in program outcomes dissemination by contributing to CRTEC program publications.
Work Location: Hybrid this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Entry Program Coordinator Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Intermediate Program Coordinator Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Experience in primary or secondary education. One year of professional level experience in a program coordination role within an academic, healthcare and or business-related environment. Senior Program Coordinator Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Experience with STEM education at the primary or secondary education level. Two (2) years of professional level experience in a program coordination role within an academic, healthcare and or business-related environment. Substitution: A combination of education and related professional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis for all levels. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of application. Preferred Qualifications: Professional and progressively responsible program coordination experience. Proficient with University of Colorado finance systems (i.e. Peoplesoft, Concur, M@rketplace). Experience with Microsoft Office suite and SmartSheet software. Experience working in an academic medical setting or secondary science education.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish a variety of tasks and goals with overlapping timelines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of writing and grammar, including APA style.
