In the Embedded Software Developer III role, you will use your extensive background in embedded software development to design and maintain Linux distributions tailored to specific hardware. You will work on optimizing bootloaders and resolving low-level system issues while collaborating with both hardware and QA teams for system validation, ensuring quality and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Linux distributions tailored for custom hardware
• Optimize kernel, bootloader, and filesystem settings
• Develop and maintain kernel drivers and libraries
• Customize and manage cross-compilation environments
• Debug boot issues, kernel crashes, and memory leaks
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in embedded software development
• Strong Linux embedded knowledge and skills
• Proven experience with Buildroot in a production context
• Advanced programming in C/C++ and shell scripting
• Effective verbal and written communication in French and English
