Job Summary
Cybersecurity Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to clients seeking cybersecurity, information security, AI governance, data governance, privacy, risk management, cloud security, and digital transformation services.
The consultant is expected to possess broad foundational knowledge across multiple domains and be capable of understanding client needs, identifying opportunities, recommending suitable solutions, supporting project delivery, and coordinating with subject matter experts to implement successful engagements.
This role combines consulting, presales, assessment, project delivery, and business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Presales

• Meet clients to understand business objectives, challenges, risks, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement gathering activities.
• Identify client pain points and recommend suitable consulting and technology solutions.
• Prepare proposals, solution blueprints, statements of work (SOW), and presentation materials.
• Support RFP, RFQ, tender, and proposal activities.
• Present cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions to business and technical stakeholders.

Security Assessments & Audit Support

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, maturity assessments, gap analyses, self-assessments, readiness assessments, and pre-audits.
• Participate in VAPT, cloud security reviews, OT security assessments, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Assist clients in preparing for certification audits and regulatory assessments.
• Support lead consultants and auditors by coordinating interviews, collecting evidence, documenting findings, and tracking corrective actions.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Support implementation of governance and compliance frameworks including:
  ISO 27001 (ISMS)
  ISO 27701 (PIMS)
  ISO 42001 (AIMS)
  ISO 22301 (BCMS)
  ISO 20000 (ITSMS)
  NIST CSF
  COBIT
  GDPR / PDPA

• Assist clients in risk assessments, governance initiatives, policy development, and continuous improvement activities.

Knowledge Development

• Continuously develop knowledge in cybersecurity, AI governance, data governance, privacy, cloud computing, and digital transformation.
• Maintain relevant industry certifications and stay updated with emerging technologies, threats, and best practices.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 2–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, governance, risk management, audit, consulting, cloud computing, digital transformation, or related fields.
• Broad understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, cloud computing, AI governance, and data governance concepts.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and report writing capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
