About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will analyze large-scale healthcare datasets and transform complex data into actionable insights, benchmarking metrics, executive-ready reporting, and self-service analytics.
You will work closely with Data Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Business teams to develop analytical datasets, define KPIs and business logic, interpret AI/ML outputs, and improve the quality and reliability of production reporting.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insight Generation
- Analyze large healthcare datasets, including claims, clinical, and operational data.
- Generate actionable insights to support business and product decisions.
- Develop benchmarking analyses across:
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and performance gaps.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, executive-ready insights.
AI-Enabled Benchmarking & Analytics
- Develop and maintain benchmarking metrics and analytical frameworks.
- Build and analyze risk-adjusted and normalized performance measures , including RAF and cohort-based comparisons.
- Perform cohort analysis and peer group comparisons.
- Prepare analytical datasets to support AI/ML use cases.
Data Modeling & Dataset Design
- Work with curated lakehouse datasets across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers .
- Create analytical datasets and aggregated tables for reporting and benchmarking.
- Define business logic for KPIs, metrics, calculations, and performance measures.

Reporting, Visualization & Self-Service Analytics
- Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or equivalent BI tools .
- Enable self-service analytics for business and product stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and usability of metrics across dashboards and reports.
- Develop concise visualizations for executive and leadership reporting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver analytical solutions within sprint timelines.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor key benchmarking metrics and performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to:
- Improve data qualit
- Continuously refine analytical models, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
Production Support & Analytical Operations
- Support production dashboards and analytical outputs.
- Investigate and resolve data issues impacting reporting.
- Perform root cause analysis for metric discrepancies.
- Contribute to improved data observability and reporting reliability.
Analytical Leadership
- Develop reusable analytical frameworks and benchmarking methodologies.
- Establish best practices in:
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field .
- Strong SQL and data querying skills.
- Hands-on experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and analytical workflows .
- Experience with Power BI or comparable BI/visualization platforms .
- Experience creating analytical datasets and aggregated datasets for reporting.
- Understanding of dimensional and analytical data modeling .
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS and Azure Databricks .
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
- Ability to define and maintain business metrics and KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and business teams.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
