Position Overview
The role focuses on data analysis, statistical analysis, data management, reporting, and database support. You will work with large and complex datasets, identify trends and data-quality issues, develop reports/visualizations, and provide analytical and technical support to business stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, data systems, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL
- Experience with SAS and R
- Strong Tableau experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with databases, queries, and data-management systems
- Experience analyzing large/complex datasets and identifying trends
- Knowledge of data quality, validation, consistency, and completeness
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, graphs, and statistical narratives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with internal/external stakeholders and provide technical assistance
- Experience gathering requirements and developing functional/technical specifications is a plus
- Experience with FOCUS, OnBase, Visio, healthcare/public health, or government data systems is highly desirable
