Data Engineer

Client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer for a temporary assignment. In this role, you will support our data infrastructure and analytics initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. This is a contingent worker position, not a full-time employment opportunity with Client.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems; implement automated monitoring and anomaly detection.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions that support product goal tracking and decision-making.
  • Leverage and develop AI-native tools and workflows to accelerate data engineering velocity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Document data workflows, processes, and best practices, contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
