Data Analytics Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of analysts and reporting professionals based in Mexico City.
- Oversee end-to-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of business dashboards and data products.
- Collaborate with global and regional business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across recurring reports and dashboards.
- Build strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to ensure alignment of metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
- Mentor, develop, and inspire team members, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
- 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably leading regional or offshore teams.
- Proficiency Developing and optimizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to move and transform data from various sources.
- Experience with various data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling and logical abstraction layers.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of reporting platforms, data warehousing, and dashboard automation techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple time zones and functions.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Azure Data Services, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms.
- Experience in process improvement, reporting governance, and center-of-excellence models.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, operational KPIs, or regulatory reporting requirements.
