We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in the Wealth / Asset Management domain, specializing in SQL Server and Snowflake -based data platforms.
The role involves designing, modernizing, and governing enterprise data architectures that support front-to-back wealth management processes, including client onboarding, portfolio management, regulatory reporting, and analytics.
Data Architecture & Design
Define and implement enterprise data architecture for wealth management platforms
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models for transactional and analytical workloads.
Lead cloud data platform architecture using Snowflake and hybrid/on-premise SQL Server environments.
Data Engineering & Platform Modernization
Architect and oversee migration from legacy data platforms to Snowflake.
Drive data integration strategies across CRM, portfolio systems, market data providers, and regulatory systems.
Align data models with key domain concepts:
Client onboarding (KYC/AML)
Trading and execution data
Risk and performance analysis
Define and enforce data governance, lineage, and cataloging frameworks.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data privacy requirements.
Implement data quality controls, auditing, and reconciliation mechanisms.
SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)
Snowflake (data modeling, Snowpipe, streams, tasks)
Data warehousing (Kimball, Data Vault, etc.)
ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration tools
Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Data integration (APIs, messaging, batch/real-time pipelines)
BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Data governance frameworks and metadata management tools
