Become a Senior Data Automation Tester in our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Python-based regression testing suite.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the existing Python/Behave automated test framework
- Correct SQL generator to accommodate DBX SQL syntax
- Run regression tests across multiple test data sets
- Partner with data engineers and QA teams to uphold data integrity
- Detect and investigate data quality problems and their root causes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address data defects proactively
- Monitor and communicate quality metrics, defects, and risks to relevant stakeholders
Requirements :
- At least 3 years of experience in data testing and quality assurance for large-scale data platforms or migrations
- Familiarity with data testing frameworks, CI/CD processes, and DataOps methodologies
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Experience using the Behave framework for test automation
- Knowledge of the Databricks environment
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Advanced SQL capabilities
- Excellent English communication skills to work effectively in a global, distributed team
