Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Diligence & Execution Lead to build and own the program controls, accountability structures, and diligence framework that govern our data center development portfolio. This is a leadership role that pairs strategic program ownership with hands-on field execution, and includes direct oversight and development of the acquisition and development analyst team. Approximately 50% travel required.
Scope & Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Process Development (approx. 50%)
- Define and institutionalize standardized QA/QC tools, diligence frameworks, and program planning disciplines across the organization
- Establish and enforce program controls and accountability structures across the full project pipeline
- Lead training, mentorship, and QA/QC oversight of acquisition and development analysts, raising the quality bar and building bench strength across the team
- Drive measurable improvement in project hit rates and development cycle velocity
- Streamline execution by lifting administrative burden off deal and acquisition leadership
Field Execution & Customer Engagement (approx. 50%)
- Lead on-site diligence reviews and site risk assessments, protecting capital by identifying risk early and eliminating unnecessary spend
- Serve as a senior company representative in customer-facing engagements, ensuring a consistent, professional product for internal and external stakeholders
- Direct site evaluation and execution activities across the development lifecycle
Reporting:
Reports to regional Data Center leadership, with a dotted-line relationship to senior program leadership.
Travel:
Approximately 50%, including site visits and customer meetings.
