Position: Data Conversion Developer
Location: Hybrid Onsite - GTA
Compensation: $90-$110 per hour

We're currently supporting a large‑scale ERP transformation initiative and are looking for an experienced Data Conversion Developer to join the project team.
This role will focus on designing, developing, and executing complex data migration and transformation processes between ERP systems within a distribution‑focused environment. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL expertise, hands‑on ERP conversion experience, and a deep understanding of operational and financial business data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data migration and conversion processes between legacy and modern ERP platforms.
- Build, optimize, and maintain complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data validation routines.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to map, cleanse, transform, and validate large datasets.
- Support end‑to‑end ETL processes, including extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Assist with troubleshooting data‑related issues during testing and deployment phases.
- Document conversion logic, mapping specifications, and migration processes.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience working on ERP data conversion or migration projects.
- Advanced SQL expertise, including stored procedures, joins, aggregations, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of ETL methodologies and data migration best practices.
- Experience working with distribution or supply chain ERP environments.
- Hands‑on experience converting data across functional areas including Master Data, Inventory Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, General Ledger.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central and/or NetSuite.
- Familiarity with ERP modernization or implementation projects.
- Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise data transformation initiatives.
