Data Conversion Tech II
The Data Conversion Tech II is responsible to convert patient data from hospital's current medical record system into eRecord. Reviews clinical data to ensure conversion accuracy and medical record completeness. Updates patient demographic information as necessary. Performs various clerical/support functions in conjunction with the completion and processing of all types of records including electronic.
Temporary Position - Project Based
Education:
Minimum: Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
License/Certifications:
Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Experience:
Minimum: 1 yr prior experience in healthcare related field utilizing Electronic Medical Record system.
Preferred: 1 yr Prior experience as a nurse or medical assistant with clinical data entry responsibilities and medical terminology.
Other:
Minimum: Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly to staff, physicians, patients and visitors. Must demonstrate proficiency in typing as well as data entry.
