Position SummaryWe are seeking a Data Dev Ops Engineer to support and enhance our cloud-based data platform, with a strong focus on Snowflake, deployment execution, and automation.
This role will drive end-to-end Dev Ops practices for data pipelines, ensuring reliable releases, scalable infrastructure, and continuous improvement across the data ecosystem.
This is a hands‐on role suitable for someone who can run deployments, improve automation, and optimize data workflows in a fast‐paced, production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage data platform deployments across environments, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.Build and enhance automation frameworks to streamline data pipeline delivery and reduce manual intervention.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake and data engineering workflows.Manage and optimize Snowflake environments, including data pipelines, performance, and cost efficiency.Work with Matillion to design, deploy, and automate ETL/ELT processes.Partner with Data Engineers to productionize and operationalize data pipelines.Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues in production environments.Implement Dev Ops best practices including version control, testing, release management, and environment promotion.Identify and drive opportunities to improve deployment speed, reliability, and scalability through automation.Required Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Data Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering.Strong hands‐on experience with Snowflake (administration, performance, data pipelines).
Proven experience running deployments and managing release cycles for data platforms.Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.Hands‐on experience with Matillion (or similar ETL tools).
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong scripting skills (Python, SQL, or Bash).
Experience with Git and version control workflows.Preferred QualificationsExperience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
