We are currently seeking a Data Engineer Trainee to join our team in Monterrey, ideally in a hybrid work model (1-2 days in-office).
This role is designed to provide hands-on learning by collaborating closely with the consulting team, gaining technical knowledge, and progressively participating in client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in training and certification programs on technical tools.
- Collaborate with senior consultants on the implementation of BI solutions.
- Assist with data preparation tasks and initial platform configurations under the guidance of experienced consultants.
- Gain knowledge of techniques for integrating data from multiple sources.
- Support the design and maintenance of databases and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Work with the consulting team to understand business requirements and learn how to translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide basic support to end users.
Requirements :
Education
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- Previous experience in software implementation or similar technical consulting roles.
- Knowledge and experience in SQL and Power BI ( Tableau is a plus ).
- Familiarity with SCRUM methodology .
- Advanced English proficiency (required).
Skills
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Self-motivated and research-oriented, with a passion for solving problems.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to deliver quality outcomes.
- Adaptable to change and committed to staying updated on the latest trends.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as in results-driven teams.
