Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for cloud cost, usage, operational, and financial data. Integrate data from AWS, Azure, GCP, enterprise applications, APIs, and databases into centralized analytics platforms. Develop cloud cost data models, data warehouses, and analytics datasets to support FinOps reporting and decision-making. Build dashboards, KPIs, executive scorecards, and reports for cloud spend, utilization, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and consistency across cloud financial and operational datasets. Analyze cloud consumption trends and provide actionable insights to improve resource utilization and optimize costs. Collaborate with Finance, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, and business stakeholders to enable chargeback/showback and FinOps best practices. Support data governance, metadata management, master data management, and continuous improvements to the enterprise data platform.
Skills 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, and Analytics. Strong SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and cloud data engineering experience. Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP billing and cost management datasets. Hands-on experience with Power BI/Tableau and modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, etc.). Knowledge of FinOps principles, cloud cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and cloud financial management is highly preferred.
