About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to build and maintain modern data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and be comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to improve engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from source systems into Snowflake.
- Configure and manage data ingestion using Fivetran.
- Develop and maintain dbt models, tests, documentation, and deployment workflows.
- Design data models and semantic layers for analytics consumption.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and data contracts.
- Use AI-powered coding assistants to automate development and documentation tasks.
- Review, validate, and deploy AI-generated code.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Snowflake
- Hands-on expertise in dbt Cloud
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with Fivetran or similar ELT tools
- Data pipeline development and analytics engineering
- Automated testing and data quality frameworks
- Git-based development and CI/CD concepts
- Experience working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

- Python for automation
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) exposure
- Semantic layer implementation
- Data contracts and data observability
- API integrations and workflow automation
- Governance, lineage, and cataloging tools
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Experience building production-grade ELT pipelines.
- Strong focus on automation, data quality, and governance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
