About the Opportunity

This permanent opportunity is ideal for an Intermediate Data Engineer / BI Developer who enjoys building strong data foundations while also turning information into meaningful dashboards and reports.
You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design data pipelines, support analytics solutions, and help improve how teams access and use data. This is a hands‑on role with room to take ownership, contribute ideas, and continue growing your technical expertise.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll design and develop end‑to‑end data ingestion and transformation pipelines into a data lake
- In this role, you’ll extract data from databases, files, APIs, and other source systems
- You’ll build, maintain, and optimize data processing workflows using Databricks or Azure Synapse
- You’ll develop production‑grade Python and PySpark code with strong error handling, logging, and quality checks
- You’ll design Power BI datasets, semantic models, reports, and DAX calculations using data modeling best practices
- You’ll partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical analytics solutions
- You’ll support documentation, standards, governance, and code management practices
Skills and Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, analytics, or a related field
- Experience working with Databricks or Azure Synapse in a production environment
- Intermediate Python and PySpark skills for data processing and pipeline development
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, with knowledge of data lake and data warehousing concepts
- Strong Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, semantic models, performance tuning, datasets, and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and communicate with technical and business teams
