Data Engineer (Databricks / Azure Data Factory)
Location: Spain (Hybrid)
Capgemini Spain is looking for talented Data Engineers with experience in Databricks and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) to join our growing Data & AI team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Build and optimize data processing workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and enhance data transformation logic using SQL, Spark, or PySpark.
- Support data integration, data quality, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience in ETL/ELT and data integration projects.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Spark / PySpark.
- Medallion Architecture.
- Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or related Azure data services.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
