The company you'll be joining is a fast-growing energy-tech organisation based in Leuven, focused on using data, software, and technology to support the transition towards a more efficient and sustainable energy system.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Build and optimise cloud-based data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, IoT devices, and enterprise systems.
- Develop reliable data models supporting analytics, forecasting, and business intelligence.
- Ensure data quality, monitoring, governance, and orchestration best practices.
- Contribute to cloud-native development, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
Your Profile
- 2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark and modern data platform architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Experience with energy, IoT, industrial, or time-series data is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English.
