Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms in an international environment. You will develop data solutions using Infrastructure as Code, build and maintain ETL pipelines, and deploy machine learning models following CI/CD best practices on AWS.
In this role, you will ensure data security and compliance, monitor model performance, apply NLP techniques to unstructured data, and deliver reliable analyses and insights to support data-driven business decisions.
About the Project
You will join a cloud-based data platform project focused on data engineering and advanced analytics. The goal is to enable scalable data processing, machine learning deployment and actionable insights from both structured and unstructured data. You will work in an international Agile environment, collaborating with technical and business teams, with all communication and documentation in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and extend data platform functionalities using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build, deploy and maintain ETL pipelines and machine learning models using CI/CD practices.
- Design and operate cloud-based data engineering solutions on AWS.
- Ensure data privacy, confidentiality and compliance with information security guidelines.
- Monitor model performance and detect model drift.
- Apply NLP techniques to extract value from unstructured data sources.
- Support data modelling by defining and implementing relevant features.
- Deliver timely analyses and insights to support business decisions.
- Prepare reproducible analyses and clear data reports for stakeholders.
Technical Stack & Skills
- SQL and Python for data processing and analytics.
- Cloud data engineering and solution architecture on AWS.
- CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and ML deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) (desirable).
- Data visualization and reporting tools (desirable).
- Strong communication skills and fluent English.
