Qualifications
• Speak fluent English.
• Ability to work both collaboratively in team-oriented environment or independently when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematical Sciences, or a related field.
Requirements
• 3+ years as a Data Analyst, Junior Data Engineer, or similar.
• Ability to be self-sufficient in tasks, test cases, and stakeholder interactions.
• Experience in supports and mentors junior team members .
• Experience in performing reviews on peers' work and provides coaching.
• Expert in SQL , including advanced queries and indexing.
• Skilled in Python, Java, Scala, R, or Matlab .
• Experience with ELT/ETL tools (Fivetran, Informatica, dbt) and custom pipelines (Python/PySpark).
• Strong data modelling and relational database expertise.
• Cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred).
• AWS experience for data pipelines and ML (e.g., Lambda, SageMaker).
• Ensures data quality, security, and access controls.
• Experience with DevOps/DataOps (CI/CD, version control, automation).
Nice to Have
• Familiar with orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Certifications in a relevant Data professional (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to technical enhancements and remediation of defects for internal and client-facing data and analytics products, identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate with TechOps and Implementations teams to develop and improve client onboarding processes.
• Respond to allocated and escalated issues, providing ad-hoc assistance to team members as needed.
• Support ongoing product releases in production, ensuring smooth operation and issue resolution.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed Scopes of Work, including costing and implementation steps.
• Supports and assists Junior Data Analysts with technical challenges.
• Identify and communicate potential problems, risks, and issues, ensuring timely follow-up to achieve positive outcomes.
• Adhere to planning, development, and testing processes in alignment with the Professional Services project cadence.
• Contribute to and follow data and analytics processes, standards, agile testing practices, and supporting workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to best practices.
• Support the implementation of data governance practices, including data security, protection, and access management.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, ensuring high-performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Senior Data Engineers to implement and refine data models.
• Contribute to DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
