Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize scalable database systems for data science and ML workflows. You will lead PostgreSQL design, analyze data access patterns, and evaluate NoSQL/graph/time-series options to support research and deployment of algorithms.

Hybrid collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers, plus experience with cloud databases (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Python scripting, are highly valued. U.S.
