Senior Data Engineer | Python | AWS | DBT | OLTP Systems

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and build high-performance transactional data pipelines and operational data systems within a modern AWS environment.

This role is ideal for engineers with deep expertise in OLTP systems, Python, SQL optimization, AWS, and DBT who thrive in building scalable application-side data platforms.

Important: Strong hands-on experience with OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) systems is a strict non-negotiable requirement for this role

What You'll Do

Build Transactional Data Pipelines

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL for high-volume transactional systems
• Build scalable operational data workflows supporting live production applications

Operational Data Modeling

• Design and optimize normalized relational schemas for OLTP environments
• Work extensively with transactional systems rather than analytical or dimensional models

Database & Performance Optimization

• Perform advanced SQL tuning, query optimization, and schema enhancements
• Optimize large-scale transactional workloads across MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS environments
