The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a data-driven transformation project within the Telecommunications or Retail sector. You will play a key role in designing and evolving a modern Data Platform, helping organizations turn large volumes of data into scalable, reliable, and actionable business insights.
Your Mission:
- Data Platform Engineering: Design and build scalable data pipelines, supporting both batch and near real-time processing.
- Data Warehouse Development: Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Modern Data Transformation: Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt and modern data engineering practices.
- Pipeline Orchestration: Build and manage robust workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data consistency, reliability, and governance across the platform.
What We Are Looking For:
- Data Engineering Expertise: 5+ years of experience delivering scalable data solutions in complex environments.
- Modern Data Stack: Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, SQL, Python, and Databricks .
- Data Modeling: Solid knowledge of dimensional modeling methodologies, particularly Kimball .
- Cloud Technologies: Experience working with AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Engineering Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD , Git, and modern software engineering principles applied to data platforms.
