Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines and systems that support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows across enterprise systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify appropriate data sources
Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures in SQL Server
Develop Python-based scripts and tools to automate data processing and transformation tasks
Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance across all data assets
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues related to performance, integrity, and availability
Support continuous improvement of data architecture and engineering practices
Stay updated with emerging technologies in data engineering, AI, and analytics
Requirements
This position requires strong experience in data engineering, with deep technical expertise in Python, SQL Server, and modern data processing frameworks, along with exposure to AI and machine learning concepts.
7+ years of experience in data engineering or related data-focused roles
Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and scripting
Advanced expertise in SQL Server, including query optimization and stored procedures
Experience designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and database design principles
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices
Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI concepts
Knowledge of supervised learning and data science workflows is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams
