In this role you lead the Product Intelligence data team to design scalable data platforms and empower product decisions with analytics and AI-driven insights. You own the data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and data access patterns, shaping how telemetry informs strategy. You will drive AI-first workflows for modeling, dashboards, and a self-service data interface for stakeholders. This is a chance to influence Nexthink’s data foundation while advancing innovative AI-enabled analytics at scale.

• Shape the data engineering roadmap with the Product Manager
• Own architecture for data warehousing, modeling, and data access
• Lead the team to design, implement, deliver, and validate scalable data pipelines and reporting
• Oversee analytics layer design, semantic modeling, and BI dashboarding
• Define and implement AI-first data workflows for modeling, analysis, and dashboard creation
• Architect and deliver an AI-powered interface (agent) for self-service data access
• Integrate telemetry insights into internal tools via MCP or similar interfaces
• Establish data engineering standards, quality indicators, and maintainable code
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data platforms and analytics workloads
• Mentor data engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Promote agile, iterative engineering culture and participate in team ceremonies
Responsabilidades
• 7+ years as a Data Engineer with at least 1 year in a Tech Lead or equivalent leadership role
• Strong database design, data modeling, and handling structured and unstructured data
• System design and architecture skills for scalable data platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with ETL/ELT experience
• Experience with modern data stack tools (dbt, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Athena, Redshift or equivalents)
• Exposure to telemetry xqbhyrx data systems and large-scale product analytics
• Experience building internal data platforms or self-service analytics
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau)
• DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, Git)
• Experience with containers and infra tools (Docker, Terraform, Jenkins)
• Ability to own projects end-to-end with autonomy
• Excellent English communication and collaboration
