About the Role-
We are seeking a hands-on Database & Data Solutions Specialist to support Aztute's database operations, customer data projects, reporting, integrations, and data warehousing initiatives.
This role requires strong database fundamentals and practical experience working with SQL, ETL processes, data migrations, data validation, and reporting datasets. You will work closely with Product, Implementation, Development, QA, and Customer Success teams to deliver reliable data solutions that support both our platform and our customers.
This is a broad, execution-focused role that offers exposure to multiple aspects of data management within a growing SaaS organization. It is not a traditional Database Administrator or Enterprise Data Architect position.
Key Responsibilities-
- Support Azure SQL and Microsoft SQL Server database operations.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and scripts.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance and data issues.
- Execute customer data migration, cleansing, transformation, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
- Support reporting datasets, database views, ODS, and Data Warehouse initiatives.
- Assist with Power BI datasets and reporting requirements.
- Support integrations using APIs, JSON, CSV, XML, and related formats.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, Customer Success, and Implementation teams.
- Document data mappings, migration processes, and technical solutions.
Minimum Qualifications-
- 2–5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQ.
- Strong SQL skills including complex queries, views, stored procedures, and data analysis.
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data migration projects.
- Experience working with relational databases in a SaaS environment.
- Working knowledge of JSON, CSV, XML, and REST APIs.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications-
- Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar ETL tools.
- Power BI or other reporting platforms.
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS applications.
- Healthcare, public sector, or community health software experience.
- FHIR, HL7, or CCDA familiarity.
