As a Data Scientist - SQL/Python - Engineer - Senior Associate, you will leverage advanced analytics and statistical techniques to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will work on exploratory and descriptive analysis, statistical modeling, and creating data visualizations to help solve complex business problems and inform strategic decisions. You will utilize a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. By interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations, you will contribute to the broader objectives of your projects and understand how your work fits into the overall strategy. This is an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving.
Responsibilities
- Leveraging advanced analytics and statistical techniques to extract insights from large datasets
- Designing and developing robust data solutions to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Conducting exploratory and descriptive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Creating data visualizations to solve complex business problems
- Utilizing programming languages such as Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Implementing machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling to enhance data-driven decision-making
- Collaborating with clients to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Managing data pipelines and confirming data quality and integrity
- Applying data science workflows and troubleshooting techniques to optimize processes
- Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering
Strong hands-on expertise in: SAS (Base SAS, Macros, statistical procedures, Proc SQL)
Advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, aggregations, performance optimization)
Strong experience working with KOMODO, IQVIA and Purple Labs datasets and commercial use cases
Strong programmingproficiencyin Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn,statsmodels) and/or R.
Experience building andvalidatingpredictive models (classification, regression, clustering, time-series).
Strong understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn,XGBoost,LightGBM, TensorFlow, orPyTorch.
- Demonstrating proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
- Utilizing machine learning techniques to solve complex problems
- Applying data science algorithms to generate actionable insights
- Leveraging experience with data pipelines and data modeling
