Data Install Technician - CCTV, Access Control, Low Voltage

Location: Jacksonville, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking Data Install Technicians with expertise in structured cabling to support various project-based installations. These roles are focused on school projects, including camera and fiber installations, and require individuals with a strong understanding of low-voltage systems. This is a project-based position with the potential for future opportunities based on performance and project availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems, including CAT 5/6.
• Pull and route low-voltage cable and wire for various systems.
• Install devices such as CCTV cameras and access control hardware.
• Work on commercial project sites, including schools, hospitals, and banks.
• Collaborate with General Contractors and project managers to complete installations.
• Perform terminations and ensure a clean, organized installation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with structured cabling, specifically CAT 5/6, including pulling cable and wire.
• Experience in low-voltage systems, including running wire and performing terminations.
• Demonstrated professional experience in commercial environments.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fiber optic cabling.
• Programming experience related to installed systems.
