About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Validation Specialist to join our technology and data engineering team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in large-scale data validation, end‑to‑end reconciliation, and building reusable validation frameworks across diverse technology stacks. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across complex enterprise systems.
Must-Have Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on data validation experience , working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong background in complex data transformations , historical data analysis, and handling data from multiple heterogeneous systems .
- Proven experience performing full file validations and managing large-volume reconciliations .
- Ability to work across diverse technology stacks, including:
- Databases
- Mainframe
- Data lake environments
- Distributed platforms
- Solid understanding of database and data warehousing concepts , including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs) and dimensional modeling.
- Ability to design and build reusable data validation frameworks , including scripts, utilities, and automation-friendly components.
- Strong SQL skills for data profiling, reconciliation, and mapping validation.
- Experience with Python, Java, or ETL tools (e.G., Informatica, Ab Initio) for automation and expected‑vs‑actual data comparison scripting.
Rate: $60-$70/hr
