Our client is a large Australian organisation investing in a significant technology and business transformation program. With Workday at the centre of this journey, they are looking for an experienced Data Lead with experience in Workday implementations to establish and deliver a scalable, trusted and future-focused data capability.
Role Overview
This is a key data leadership role, though a senior sole contributor, to shape the data strategy across a large-scale Workday implementation.
Working closely with business leaders, technology teams and delivery partners, you'll lead data architecture, migration, governance and integration activities for this Workday implementation to ensure successful program outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and drive the data strategy & architecture for a Workday implementation, which includes HCM, Payroll and Finance
- Lead data migration, transformation and quality initiatives.
- Establish governance frameworks, standards and controls.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align data outcomes to business objectives, manage data-related risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes.
- Champion best-practice data management across the organisation.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading data streams within large transformation programs, and specifically for Workday implementations.
- Experienced with data models across HCM, Payroll and Finance
- Strong background in data architecture, governance, migration and integration.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale system reporting - including experience with Workday Prism.
- Ability to influence and engage senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Expertise in data migration, ETL and governance frameworks
- Relevant tertiary qualifications within Technology, Data or Information Systems.
