Title:- Database Admin
The ideal candidate has strong Oracle DBA experience, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, and can quickly become productive with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle databases across Development, QA, and Production environments.
- Participate in project work, including infrastructure upgrades and migration initiatives.
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve incidents in a timely manner
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance.
- Support backup, recovery, and database restore activities.
- Assist with database migrations, refreshes, cloning, and maintenance activities.
- Support SAP database operations and collaborate with SAP Basis and Infrastructure teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Follow established operational, security, and change management processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience. SQL, Exadata experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database administration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
- Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience cross collaboration with other infrastructure teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting SAP environments.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata.
- Experience with SQL Server administration.
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).
- Experience working with enterprise infrastructure projects and database migrations.
