- Project: Oracle → PostgreSQL migration on Azure (DMS + AKS)

- The work
- Own the target platform and data migration: provision Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (zone-redundant HA), run the big-bang migration via Azure DMS, wire AKS/Key Vault connectivity, and drive the production cutover runbook and rollback plan.
- Must have
- 5+ years database engineering with strong PostgreSQL administration
- Hands-on Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (HA, SKU/IOPS sizing, backups, maintenance windows)
- Azure Database Migration Service (DMS) — has executed an offline/big-bang migration (Oracle source preferred), with row-count/LOB/sequence validation
- Working Oracle knowledge (schema/type mapping)
- AKS — ConfigMaps, Secrets, Kustomize, rolling redeploys
- Azure networking — VNet integration, private endpoints, private DNS
- Azure Key Vault + AKS (CSI Secret Store / synced secrets)
- Strongly desired
- Flyway/Liquibase · IaC (Bicep/Terraform — greenfield here) · cutover runbook & rollback authoring
