Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and tune large scale distributed OceanBase for high performance and scalability.
Manage tenant/cluster resources (computing resources relocation and provisioning) in distributed OceanBase environments.
Quickly diagnose and resolve large‐scale distributed DB issues using SRE/DB alert systems.
Participate in on‐call rotation to handle emergency DB incidents and provide timely resolutions.
Review DB‐related requests (data security, SQL impact on production) to prevent potential risks.
Follow company policies and development processes for database operations. Ensure data security, auditing, encryption, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.
Technical Requirements
Deep expertise in OceanBase, MySQL, and Oracle to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our large‐scale distributed database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‐solving skills. xqbhyrx
Expert–level knowledge of database internals (ACID, storage engine, SQL engine, HA/DR, security), strong distributed OceanBase administration skills (OCP, obproxy, tenant/cluster management), and the ability to collaborate across teams to optimize database operations.
