3 Key Highlight Requirements

1) 5+ years-Enterprise Database Administration & Data Warehousing (Required)

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, data warehouse management, data marts, data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake), and performance tuning.

2) 5+ years-ETL Tools + Reporting Tools (Required)

Experience with Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, or similar ETL tools, plus reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy.

3) Logical/Physical Data Modeling + DB Security + Recovery (Required)

Experience designing relational models, creating physical models, implementing DB security, backup/recovery procedures, and supporting database migrations.

Job Description Summary

The Database Administrator 2 will:

Support installation, upgrades, and migrations of database software

Analyze, design, modify, and maintain database structures

Implement backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery procedures

Establish database security controls and user access levels

Perform logical and physical data modeling

Monitor database performance and implement tuning improvements

Assist with modifying existing DBMS and developing standards/policies

Ensure accessibility compliance for DB admin interfaces

Support users with EIR Accessibility issues

Participate in pre employment security review (mandatory)

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements (Must Have):

5+ years Database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.)

5+ years Data warehouse management, data marts, data modeling

5+ years ETL tools (Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, etc.)

5+ years Analytical & reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy)

5+ years Data population, transformation, SQL, end user tools

5+ years Data dictionary creation & metadata management

5+ years Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

5+ years Benchmarking, performance tuning, DB optimization

5+ years Ability to work with technical & non technical teams

Understanding of accessibility standards (EIR)

Required:

Oracle Database experience

SSRS report creation

M204 database experience
