We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in PostgreSQL to manage, secure and optimize critical database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including backup/recovery, monitoring and performance tuning.
- Design database structures and data synchronization mechanisms.
- Develop Python backend applications and REST APIs integrated with PostgreSQL.
- Set up and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Support database solutions within microservices environments.
- Contribute to monitoring and logging using the Elastic Stack.
Key Skills:
- Expert-level PostgreSQL database administration
- Python backend development and REST APIs
- Linux server administration
- GitLab CI/CD
- Elastic Stack
- Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Ansible are advantageous
- Knowledge of NoSQL, Key-Value, Document and Vector databases is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills
- Dutch, English and French knowledge
