The Database Developer is responsible for fulfilling the database development needs for Eton Solutions' product development. The role involves database design, development, optimization, Azure integration, performance tuning, software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
Database Development
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases.
- Write and optimize:
- SQL Queries
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Views
- Design and review code for performance and scalability.
- Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
- Test and evaluate new programs.
- Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop enhancements.
- Write and implement efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Determine operational practicality of software solutions.
- Develop quality assurance procedures.
- Deploy software tools, processes, and performance metrics.
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems.
- Work closely with developers, UX designers, business analysts, and system analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
Azure & Data Integration
Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Azure Application Insights
Good-to-Have Domain Experience
Experience in any of the following areas is an added advantage:
- Chart of Accounts (COA)
- Benchmark
- Security Master
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Transaction Processing
- Position Reconciliation
- Financial Accounting (FA)
- Taxation
Required Certifications
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Mandatory.
- Experience with Azure Application Insights.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience), OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong expertise in SQL Query writing.
- Strong experience with Stored Procedures.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Functions.
- Experience creating and managing SQL Views.
- Hands-on Azure development experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex product issues.
- Enthusiastic team player who enjoys both strategic and hands-on work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees across all organizational levels.
