Our websites are www.magnaflow.com and www.camburg.com.Salary Range: $130,000-$150,0000 USD *Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.What you will be doing: The Database Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's databases, data pipelines, and reporting infrastructure. This role ensures data integrity, availability, security, and performance while supporting business intelligence, analytics, and operational applications. The ideal candidate combines strong database development expertise with modern data engineering practices to transform raw data into reliable, scalable solutions that drive business decisions.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database solutions, including complex stored procedures functions, and query optimization across SQL Server and Azure SQL environmentsBuild and manage scalable, fault-tolerant ETL/ELT pipelines using both on-prem and cloud-based tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks)Develop and support enterprise data warehouse and data mart architectures to enable reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiativesCollaborate with application developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient data models and solutionsEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency through validation, monitoring, and implementation of data governance best practicesOptimize database and warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, query tuning, and workload managementImplement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure availability and resilience of critical data systemsSupport integration between enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, etc.) through reliable and scalable data pipelinesTroubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and ETL failures in production environmentsSupport users with analytics tools such as PowerBIQualificationsRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience5+ years of experience in database development, data engineering, or related rolesAdvanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL, including query optimization and stored procedure development What you need: Strong experience with ETL/ELT development using tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar platformsExperience designing and supporting data warehouse architectures (star/snowflake schemas, data marts, fact/dimension modeling)Working knowledge of additional database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL platforms)Experience with scripting and development languages such as Python, PowerShell, or .NET for automation and data processingFamiliarity with reporting and analytics tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Strong understanding of data integration patterns, data governance, and best practices for data securityExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliabilityWhat’s in it for you?
