As a Database Developer, you join an agile team responsible for the FIV system—Allianz's central sales steering and information platform. You will extend data models, refine ETL processes, and maintain interfaces to ensure reliable data delivery to sales and controlling functions. You contribute to upgrades, migrations, and data delivery to downstream systems, shaping a robust data foundation for 14,000 users. This role sits at the intersection of data, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. You will impact how sales decisions are driven by accurate, timely information.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Process Jira tickets for data model extensions and database-related programming, adjust ETL processes (tool: biGenius), and manage GitHub versioning and automation specs
• Perform general system integration tests with test data and monitor job chains
• Create and maintain interfaces; support upgrades and migrations of interfaces and their databases
• Support and maintain data delivery processes to downstream systems
• Handle incidents and implement changes for releases
• Participate in early shifts and shift duties around month-end
Responsabilidades
• Degree in computer science / natural sciences / engineering, or comparable training
• Very good PL/SQL knowledge (experienced level)
• Very good Oracle database knowledge
• Proficient with build pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins)
• Experience xqbhyrx operating data warehouse systems
• Very good English skills (B1)
• Willingness for early and late shifts; agile work experience
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Independent, team-oriented work style; strong communication and customer orientation; high sense of quality and responsibility
