We are looking for aSenior Database Administrator (DBA) / Data Engineerwith strong expertise inMicrosoft SQL Serverto lead the design, optimization, and reliability of our data platforms.In this role, you will own database performance, scalability, and integrity across enterprise systems, while partnering with engineering and analytics teams to ensure efficient data architecture and delivery.This position requires a hands-on expert who combines deep database administration skills with a strong understanding of data engineering and modern data ecosystems.What You'll DoDesign, implement, and maintainhigh-performance, scalable database systems(SQL Server and No SQL).
Owndatabase performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and capacity planning.Develop and maintainrobust ETL/ELT pipelinesusingSSISand related tools.Ensuredata integrity, security, backup, and disaster recovery strategiesare in place and tested.Build and optimizedata models, schemas, and database objects(tables, views, stored procedures).
Integrate new data systems with existingdata warehouse architectures.Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, ensuringhigh availability and minimal downtime.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, product) to define data requirements and solutions.Establish and enforcebest practices, standards, and governancefor database development and operations.Continuously evaluate and adoptnew data technologies and optimization techniques.What You'll Bring~5+ years of experienceas a DBA or Database Developer in production environments.
~ Expert-level SQL Server knowledge, including performance tuning, indexing, and execution plans.
~ Strong experience with:~ SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)~ SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)~ SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) (nice to have)~ Proven ability to design and documentscalable database architectures.
~ Experience withdata modeling, metadata management, and large-scale data processing.
~ Solid understanding ofbackup/recovery, high availability, and load balancing strategies.
~ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills inhigh-pressure environments.
~ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver infast-paced environments.
~ Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.Nice to HaveExperience withNo SQL databases(e.g., Mongo DB).
Exposure toElasticsearch.Programming experience inC# or Python.Familiarity withBig Data ecosystems(Hadoop, Spark).
