As a Database Developer , you will design, develop, and optimize scalable database solutions that support enterprise applications and analytics platforms. This role requires a strong balance between hands-on SQL development, data engineering practices, and problem-solving capabilities , working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
What You’ll Do- Design and develop database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or similar .
- Develop and support reporting and analytics solutions using SSRS and SSAS .
- Participate actively in end-to-end development cycles , including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment .
- Troubleshoot complex data and performance issues, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Document technical solutions and clearly communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in database development (not only administration/support) .
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, query optimization).
- Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with data transformation processes.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS .
- Solid understanding of data modeling and database design .
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills , with the ability to handle complex and nuanced scenarios.
- Experience working in Agile environments and participating in iterative development cycles.
- Familiarity with testing practices, validation frameworks, or data quality processes .
- Ability to clearly and confidently communicate technical concepts in a structured manner .
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to modern data engineering tools or frameworks.

- Demonstrates strong depth in SQL and database development , beyond operational DBA tasks.
- Brings hands-on experience in BI, reporting, and data engineering tools .
- Shows the ability to solve complex problems and explain solutions clearly .
