Role Overview
We're looking for a highly skilled Databricks / dbt Developer with strong experience across modern data engineering, Azure cloud services, and BI tooling. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands‑on development, data modeling, orchestration, and delivering high‑quality, scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks (Python, SQL) and Spark.
- Develop robust data models using dbt (data build tool).
- Design and orchestrate workflows in Azure Data Factory.
- Work with SQL Server, Power BI (DAX), and integrate with Cosmos DB.
- Collaborate using Azure DevOps for CI/CD and version control.
- Enhance reporting and analytics solutions with Power BI.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and MDM best practices (preferred).
- Support legacy or hybrid environments using SSIS / SSRS (preferred).
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in modern data engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Databricks
- dbt
- Spark & Python
- Azure Data Factory
- SQL Server & Power BI (DAX)
- Cosmos DB exposure
- Preferred exposure to:
- SSIS, SSRS
- MDM, Data Governance, Data Quality
